Lobsite Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Feynman OÜ, a company registered in Estonia under registry code 16935626 (VAT number EE102715167) ("Lobsite", "we", "us").

They apply when you use Lobsite: the website and dashboard at lobsite.com, the API, the lobsite command-line tool, and sites we host on lobsite.app or on your own domains (together, the "Service").

You accept these terms when you create an account, or when you deploy a site without an account (for example by running npx lobsite). If you use the Service for an organisation, you accept them on its behalf and confirm that you're allowed to.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

2. The Service

Lobsite hosts static websites. You upload files; we store them and serve them over HTTPS. The Service includes:

  • deploys from the command line, by drag and drop in the dashboard, or from the upload box and free tools on lobsite.com, with a history of recent deploys, preview addresses and rollback;
  • addresses on lobsite.app, and custom domains you connect;
  • contact forms on your sites, with spam protection, email notifications and webhooks;
  • on the Standard plan: site analytics, password protection for sites, CI tokens, and one invited person who can manage the account with you.

We may add, change or remove features. When a change takes away something you rely on, we'll tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

3. Who can use Lobsite

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You can't use the Service if the law forbids you from doing so, for example because of sanctions.

4. Accounts

  • Give accurate information, and keep your email address up to date: we use it for security and service messages.
  • Each login is for one person. Don't create several free accounts to get around limits.
  • Team members. On the Standard plan, the account owner can invite one person, who keeps their own login and can manage the owner's sites: deploy, roll back, manage domains, forms and passwords, and see analytics and form submissions. The owner is responsible for what the invited person does in the account, and can remove them at any time.
  • Temporary or disposable email addresses can't be used to sign up.
  • Keep your password, sessions and tokens secure. You're responsible for what happens through your account and its tokens, including a token you put in a CI system. Tell us at support@lobsite.com if you think someone else has access.
  • Some features need a confirmed email address, such as deploying, claiming sites and adding domains.

5. Deploys without an account

You can deploy a site without an account. Such a site:

  • gets a generated address and expires 6 hours after it's created, unless you claim it by signing in;
  • is controlled by a claim token stored on the computer it was deployed from, or in the browser it was uploaded from. Anyone with that token, or with the site's claim link, can change or claim the site;
  • keeps only its live deploy: each new deploy replaces the previous one;
  • has lower limits, isn't indexed by search engines, and can't accept form submissions;
  • can be refused when the daily number of sites without an account is reached, and can be removed by us at any time, without notice.

These terms apply to these sites in full.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload and everything submitted through your forms ("your content").

You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, cache, scan, transmit and display your content, only as needed to run, secure and improve the Service. The licence ends when your content is deleted from the Service, except for copies kept in backups for the period in our Privacy Policy.

You confirm that you have the rights to publish your content, and that publishing it doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights.

Sites are public. Everything you deploy, including preview addresses of earlier deploys, can be reached by anyone with the address, unless you protect the site with a password (Standard plan). Password protection keeps casual visitors out; it isn't meant for confidential data. Don't deploy files you want to keep private. The command-line tool refuses common secret files (such as .env files and private keys) unless you override it; that's a safety net, not a guarantee.

We keep only recent deploys. The live deploy is always kept. Other deploys are kept for 7 days on free accounts and 30 days on Standard accounts, then removed with their preview addresses. Keep your own copy of your files: Lobsite isn't a backup service.

Screenshots. We take screenshots of the live pages of sites that belong to an account and aren't password-protected, and show them in your dashboard.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service, or let others use your sites, to:

  1. phish or deceive: collect passwords, payment details or other credentials by pretending to be someone else, or imitate another organisation's login or payment pages;
  2. distribute malware, unwanted software, or files designed to harm or take over devices;
  3. publish content that is illegal where you are, in Estonia or in the European Union, including child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, and content that infringes intellectual property rights;
  4. harass, threaten, or incite violence or hatred against people or groups;
  5. send spam, or host pages promoted by spam;
  6. run cryptocurrency mining or other hidden processing in visitors' browsers;
  7. run open redirects, proxies or link shorteners used to hide the destination of links;
  8. use Lobsite mainly as file storage or a download mirror, rather than for websites, or to serve files that are hot-linked by other sites;
  9. collect sensitive data through Lobsite forms without telling visitors who you are and why you collect it. Forms with password or card-number fields are only allowed on your own domain;
  10. get around limits, suspensions or security measures, for example by creating several accounts or using several IP addresses, or use password protection to hide content this section forbids;
  11. probe, load-test or attack the Service, or interfere with other users, without our written permission;
  12. impersonate Lobsite, or suggest that we endorse your site.

8. How we enforce these terms

To protect visitors and the Service, we:

  • scan deploys automatically for signs of phishing and abuse, password-protected sites included, and may hold a deploy for review instead of publishing it;
  • may suspend a site immediately and without notice when we believe it's being used for phishing, malware or other serious harm. When the account is new, we may also pause its other sites while we review;
  • may refuse a subdomain name that imitates a brand or looks like it's meant to deceive;
  • may close accounts that break these terms seriously or repeatedly.

When we remove content or suspend a site or account, we'll tell you why and how to ask us to review the decision, unless the law prevents us or telling you would help someone cause harm. Ask for a review on the Report abuse page at lobsite.com/abuse.

9. Reporting abuse and copyright

  • Abuse: every site has a "Report abuse" link at /_lobsite/report, which leads to the Report abuse page at lobsite.com/abuse. We aim to act on phishing reports within minutes.
  • Copyright: send notices of claimed infringement to copyright@lobsite.com, with: your contact details; the work you say is infringed; the exact address of the material; a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you're the rights holder or authorised to act for them; and your signature. If we remove your content after a notice, you can send a counter-notice to the same address.

10. Limits

Each plan has published limits, for example on site size, files per deploy, deploys per hour, bandwidth and form submissions. They are listed at lobsite.com/pricing.

  • On the free plan and for sites without an account, bandwidth limits are hard caps. When an account reaches its monthly limit, its sites stop serving files and show a "limit reached" page until the next month, or until you upgrade. We email you before that happens.
  • On the Standard plan, bandwidth is fair use. Sites keep serving past the published amount (1 TB a month per account); we'll get in touch to talk about your use.
  • We may change the limits of the free plan. We'll give at least 30 days' notice of a change that lowers them, except when we need to act quickly against abuse.

11. Forms and your visitors' data

When your site uses Lobsite forms, you are responsible for the data your visitors submit:

  • you decide what to collect, and you must have a lawful reason to collect it;
  • you must tell your visitors, for example in a privacy notice on your site, that you collect it and that Lobsite processes it for you;
  • you must not use forms for anything section 7 forbids;
  • on the Standard plan, add only notification addresses you're allowed to send submissions to. Each address gets an email asking to confirm it before it receives anything.

We process submissions only on your behalf and following your instructions, as this section describes. Submissions are kept for 90 days on free accounts and 1 year on Standard accounts, then deleted. Notifications and webhooks are delivered on a best-effort basis; check the dashboard for the full record.

12. Custom domains

  • Connect only domains you own or are allowed to use. We're not a domain registrar, and you stay responsible for your domain's registration and DNS.
  • A domain is connected to the site of whoever proves control of it in DNS. If another account proves control of a domain that's connected to your site, for example because you left a DNS record pointing at Lobsite after removing your site, the domain moves to that account's site, and we tell you by email.
  • We issue and renew HTTPS certificates for connected domains automatically.

13. The Standard plan

  • The Standard plan costs $20 a year, billed yearly in advance, plus any taxes that apply, such as VAT. There's no monthly option. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
  • 14-day refund: you can cancel within 14 days of a purchase or a yearly renewal and get a full refund, from the dashboard or with lobsite billing cancel. Your account goes back to the free plan straight away. This applies to every customer, wherever they live.
  • Renewal: the plan renews automatically each year. We email you 7 days before each renewal, and charge the renewal the day before your year ends.
  • If a renewal payment fails, we try again on the day your year ends and 3 days later, and email you after each failed try. If the third try fails too, your account moves to the free plan.
  • Cancelling later: after 14 days you can turn off renewal at any time. You keep the Standard plan until the end of the year you paid for; there's no partial refund.
  • Price changes apply from your next renewal, and we'll tell you at least 30 days before.
  • Going back to free (for any of the reasons above): the free plan has room for one site. The site you deployed most recently keeps serving; your other sites are paused straight away, which means visitors see a "paused" page and you can't change them, but nothing is deleted. You can choose a different site to keep from the dashboard. If you buy the Standard plan again within 30 days, every paused site comes back. Otherwise we email you 10, 5 and 1 days before, and then remove the paused sites, with their deploys, domains and form submissions, 30 days after they were paused. New deploys must fit the free limits, and older deploys and form submissions are removed sooner. The custom domain of the site that keeps serving keeps working; the others stop working after 30 days. An invited member loses access straight away, CI tokens stop working, and form notifications go only to the account email. Password-protected sites stay protected; you can remove the password but not change it.

14. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available, but we don't promise any particular uptime. We may interrupt the Service for maintenance or security, and we'll try to give notice of planned work.

15. Ending your use

  • You can stop at any time, delete your sites, and close your account by writing to support@lobsite.com.
  • We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if your use puts the Service or other users at risk. Except for serious or repeated breaches, or where the law prevents it, we'll give you notice and a chance to fix the problem first.
  • We can stop offering the Service. If we do, we'll give at least 60 days' notice so you can move your sites, and refund the unused part of any paid plan.
  • When your account is closed, your sites stop serving and your content is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections 6 (licence, for backups), 16, 17, 18 and 19 continue to apply.

16. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we don't give any warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, or that content will never be lost.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by contract.

17. Liability

As far as the law allows:

  • we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill;
  • our total liability to you for all claims about the Service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and $20.

We don't limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law.

18. Your responsibility for your content

If someone makes a claim against us because of your content or your breach of these terms, you'll cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim. This doesn't apply to the extent the claim is caused by our own fault, or where the law doesn't allow it for consumers.

19. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes go to Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus) in Tallinn, unless the law of your country gives you, as a consumer, the right to bring proceedings where you live.

If you're a consumer in the European Union, you can also take a dispute to the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon) or to an out-of-court dispute resolution body in your country.

20. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For changes that matter, we'll email account holders at least 30 days before they take effect, unless the change is needed sooner for legal or security reasons. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms; if you don't accept them, you can close your account.
