What's new

Everything that changed in Lobsite, newest first.

Japanese, Korean and Indonesian, and form emails from your own domain

Lobsite now speaks fourteen languages, form emails can come from your own domain through Resend, and temporary sites are easier to keep.

New

Japanese, Korean and Indonesian

The website, the docs, the free tools, the dashboard, the emails and the Keep it pill are now available in Japanese, Korean and Indonesian, which brings Lobsite to fourteen languages. Japanese and Korean use your system's font, so every character looks right. The CLI and the API stay in English.

New

Form emails from your own domain

A new Integrations tab connects your Resend account, so the confirmations people get after filling in your forms, and your own notifications if you like, come from an address at your custom domain. Turn confirmations on for each form in its settings on the Forms tab, or connect from the CLI with lobsite integrations connect resend. Resend is part of the Standard plan and needs a custom domain on the site. The same tab lists webhooks and GitHub Actions, with Zapier and n8n coming soon.

We've also shipped

  • New
    Deploy from GitHub Actions

Build in your workflow, then deploy live from your main branch and as a preview for pull requests, with a CI token.

  • New
    Unclaim a site

A site's settings can hand it back: it becomes temporary again, and its domains, form data, analytics and older deploys are removed.

  • Improved
A Keep it card on temporary sites

Temporary sites now open with a card to keep the site for free with Google or email, and it folds into the pill after a few seconds.

  • Improved
    A new claim page

It looks like the sign-in page, shows a live preview of the site with its time left, and lets you sign in and keep the site in one go.

  • Improved
    Faster deploys

Deploys start sooner, and the CLI reports success as soon as they're done.

  • Improved
A warning when a redeploy uploads nearly every file

That usually means your build writes different output each time.

  • Improved
    Dates in your time zone

Billing and removal dates in the dashboard follow your browser's time zone.

  • Improved
Members know who adds form addresses

The dashboard now says that only the account owner can add and confirm the addresses forms email.

  • Fixed
    Removed domains stop redirecting visitors

Browsers that had visited a site's old primary domain kept going there, and now let go within 5 minutes.

See your deploy's progress, and a new account menu

Deploys now show what they're doing while they run, and everything about your account sits in one menu at the top of the sidebar.

New

Watch your deploy's progress

In a terminal, the CLI shows a progress bar with file counts and bytes while it hashes, uploads and checks your HTML pages, and uploads that need sending again get their own step. Coding agents get plain lines instead of a bar. The CLI and the dashboard now wait for the checks to finish before they call a deploy done.

New

An account menu in the sidebar

The dropdown at the top of the sidebar is now a menu with who's signed in, the accounts you can switch to, account settings and sign out. That's where the sidebar's Account link and the Sign out button on the account page went.

We've also shipped

  • Improved
    Live and removed forms

A Live | Removed switch on the Forms tab gives forms you've removed from your site full rows of their own.

  • Improved
    Submissions for one form

The Submissions button on a form opens only that form's submissions, and the CSV export follows the same filter.

  • Improved
    Clearer form rows

Each row now shows only the form's type.

  • Improved
    Request IDs in CLI errors

Quote the ID to support without turning on verbose output.

  • Fixed
A lone HTML page opens at your site's address

A site with one top-level HTML file and no index.html or 200.html showed "Not found", and sites already deployed are fixed too.

  • Fixed
Dashboard icons look the same on every system

Keep a temporary site right from the site

Sites you deploy without an account last 6 hours. Now each one has a Keep it button on the page itself, so whoever opens it can keep it without hunting for a claim link.

New

A Keep it button on temporary sites

A temporary site shows how long it has left in the bottom-right corner, with a Keep it button. Click the pill to see what keeping it means, then sign in or create a free account and the site is yours: it stops expiring, its forms start working and it shows up in your dashboard. The first person to keep a site gets it. The button speaks your browser's language.

We've also shipped

  • Improved
Straight back to your site after keeping it

The confirmation has a button that takes you straight back.

  • Fixed
Readable buttons after keeping a site
  • Fixed
The language menu closes when you click away

Lobsite in eleven languages, and forms you can manage from the dashboard

Lobsite now speaks your language, and the Forms tab has been rebuilt from scratch: a row for each form, a four-step creator, and settings for emails and webhooks without touching lobsite.toml.

New

Lobsite now speaks eleven languages

The website, the docs, the free tools and the dashboard are available in German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Russian and Turkish. We go by the link you followed, then your account setting, then your browser, and you can switch any time from the language menu in the footer. The CLI and the API stay in English.

New

A new Forms tab

Every form on your live site gets its own row: who it emails, where its webhook goes, when the last submission came in and how many arrived this month. Forms you've removed from your site are listed underneath, where you can archive them.

We've also shipped

  • New
Create a form in four steps

Pick the fields and where submissions go, then copy the HTML or a prompt for your coding agent.

  • New
Email and webhook settings for each form

Set them in the dashboard instead of lobsite.toml.

  • Improved
A language bar that knows what you're reading

It reads correctly even when your browser translates the page.

  • Improved
    Submission emails name your domain
  • Improved
    A Sign-in & access tab

Sign-in methods, passkeys, browsers and CLI sessions in one place.

  • Fixed
    Submission counts for each form

Each form now shows its own count, not the site's total.
