# Invalid request (`validation.invalid`)

HTTP 400. The request doesn't match the API's schema, for example an unknown field or a value of the wrong type.

What to do:

- Read `details.issues`: each one names the field and the problem.
- Update the CLI if you didn't write the request yourself.
